2nd Picasso....not

After a much better sleep than the previous night, one was all set for another few hours of showing the world my artistic talent...well actually showing a Thai artist I can't draw!

But I like to try, as my lovely mother has always said I can draw (don't know we're she got that from) so for the first time since I left school I am having another go!

I arrived at 10am this morning for another 3 hrs, so on arrival everything is all set........

My drawing table.....

My tutor asked me yesterday what I wanted to draw, as I didn't have a clue I chose a picture that I had taken the day before of an old Thai house. Although this time I was to use 'watercolour'....

Bearing in mind I hadn't drawn for over 30years, and not that well then! I had never ever done watercolour, didn't even know what it was, apart from probably using 'water' and 'colour'.....the detective in me!!!!

Anyway the 3hrs soon went, so I stayed until 3pm. So 5hrs of my time (which here isn't a problem as I am trying to waste as much as possible)...my piece of watercolour is shown below....

My first 'watercolour'...

Well depending on how much awful advice I get about don't giving up my day job, when I get home I may try another artistry creation, subject to my lovely girlfriend Sue thinking it being a good idea! Although if I get on to drawing animals, can't see Barney, one of our lovely dogs, staying still for more then a second, but Polly the Airdale might as she spends 99% of her time asleep!!!  watch out Polly you may be my first model !!!!

So drawing course finished, I then feel it's time for lunch (or tea as it's now nearly 4pm). So I found this lovely bar that makes a great burger (not McDonalds Sue, honest) so I ordered a bacon burger. However a chilli burger arrived (not a problem).....yummy!!

Picture's  below show the view from my seat in the bar, and my scrummy burger!

My view...

My burger...

Today is now at an end, so off to bed soon as it's 9pm, then up tomorrow for football, so we will have to see whether watching Chiang Mai FC is better than watching football at home......
