Camera purchase

Thought as I am going to have to find something to do that won't cost me too many Thai Baht's, thought I would treat myself to a new camera. After many hours of deliberation, I decided to purchase a Nikon Coolpix L820.
I wanted a camera that was small enough to carry around with me, had a good zoom (30xzoom) had a few pixels (16.0 Megapixels) and also has a very good sized LCD (7.5cm)....also as you can see from the picture, not only does it look good, it's a lovely colour.....

My Nikon Coolpix L820

Forgot to say...the other reason I opted for this camera...was the price! I managed to purchase it new for £119.00, which was £100.00 discount.

So camera bought, case bought (Argos doing a deal, if you buy the camera you get the camera bag half price)....so hopefully this blog will have a few examples of my budding photography skills! You will have to wait and see...

Booked CM Bluehouse

Wanted to try CM blue house last time I was in Chiang Mai, but never got around to it, so this time I intend to try it for a few days, at a cost from B350 per night (£7), it's just within my budget of £200 per month for accommodation.

When I was last in Chiang Mai November 2012, I kept walking past this B&B, and thought I wouldn't mind staying there, so now I have the opportunity...why not!

Even though one of my favourite things about Thailand is the food, there is one thing (and probably one thing only) that we in good old England have put on the map in relation to food, and that's a 'Full English' .....the picture below, shows the CM Bluehouse version...looks good enough to me!
